The Fox and Goose is a family run pub set in the heart of the tranquil village of Greywell, Hampshire. This superb example of a 16th century Inn is located just a few miles from exit 5 of the M3 between Hook and Odiham. The pub is an ideal place to meet for lunch, dinner or even just drinks.
This quaint English country pub has a relaxed atmosphere. Its experienced staff will ensure you are well looked after during your visit. There is an excellent choice of Real Ales, Branded Beers, Spirits and a good selection of Wines to accompany a superb menu.
The pub cuisine is mostly traditional English fayre with the emphasis very much on home-made dishes. We try to make our dishes from local produce and 'Game' when in season. There are 'Daily Special's on offer at the pub and Sundays are aimed at the classic “Roast Dinner", which changes from week to week.
The pub functions as a friendly local and is also used by many visitors and their families. The pub is a stones throw away from the Basingstoke Canal and River Whitewater, which run through the area and are both popular areas for walking, cycling, boating and picnicking.
During the summer months the large field at the rear can be used by hired for social or corporate events, charity days, car rally's. even marquee wedding receptions (Marquees and catering will need to be arranged separately).
Children are welcome at the pub all year round and there is ample room for them to play in the garden. We also welcome dogs as why should man's best friend be left at home when everyone else is out enjoying themselves.
